Worship Music has a tendency to lighten the soul and help us to connect better with God. It may be a song that you heard in the past, a song that maybe you heard during a worship service - when you were totally engulfed by the Holy Spirit, or it could even be a song you are hearing for the first time. No matter what, where, why and how, Christian Music, especially Praise and Worship Music, is a beautiful thing and is something that God truly enjoys. Here in Psalm 100, the Psalmist tells us how we should Worship God through song:
Psalm 100 ~ A psalm. For giving thanks.
1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
2 Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before Him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the LORD is God.
It is He who made us, and we are His;
we are His people, the sheep of His pasture.
4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving
and His courts with praise;
give thanks to Him and praise His name.
5 For the LORD is good and His love endures forever;
His faithfulness continues through all generations.
